About This Blog

Hey, if you are reading this, then you probably want to know what this blog is for, right? Well this blog is used by the AV Club Productions, Inc. members for a few things. Most importantly we will use it to describe all of the various things we are up to, be it live shows, shorts, live stunts, or something else that is fun. We will also use this blog to point out things we find on the web or in pop culture that strike us as interesting for one reason or another. And every once in a while we might just use this space to post personal musings or events of interest.

So if this sounds like stuff you’d be into, check back often, subscribe, ask anything you want to know more about either here, or in our forums. Thanks for dropping by!

The AV Club Blog has a few contributors, here is a little info on them all:

Andy writes way too much stuff on this blog. He is co-founder of the AV Club, and is behind most, but certainly not all, of the directing and editing of AV Club live shows and web videos, as well as the overall Evil Plans we hatch. This blog is filled with Andy’s nerdy interests and ideas, so if you are going to blame anyone, blame him first, because it was probably his doing. If you like this blog, don’t like this blog, love/hate the AV Club or any of our videos, drop Andy a line and give him an earful; he listens. He is also on AIM a lot: “filmdork999“, and his full profile is here.

Chris is the other co-founder of the AV Club, and he is responsible for almost all of the tech aspects of the AV Club- from the design of the site, blog, and forums you see before you now, to the actual hardware used during our live shows. He is also heavily involved in every aspect of the AV Club, so if you want somebody other than Andy to blame for anything, you can certainly yell at him too.

Sam is a person, he eats things, and occasionally posts to this blog.

Nick is a member of the AV Club and an actor in several of our live shows. His perspective on the AV Club is very different than Andy’s or Chris’, because it is often his ass up there on stage or on screen. Look for occasional anecdotes from Nick on the way shows work from an actor’s perspective. Nick is also responsible for PR for the live shows, so he is really pretty involved in many aspects of the AVC. But don’t blame him for anything, definitely hold Andy accountable whenever possible.
