My Lips Don’t Lie

Sunday, April 23rd, 2006

Shakira9Shakira’s voice sounds terrible on her new single “My Hips Don’t Lie”. It isn’t manly, it isn’t overly processed, it’s just unnatural sounding and mildly scary. The woman sounds like a damn muppet. It needs to be ended. I used to have a lot more respect for Wyclef, while I am on the topic. And furthermore, she and Fergie, while vocally talented, seem to spend more time gyrating and writing AWFUL awful lyrics than doing good with their talents. They both need to not have solo careers.

toga

This weekend was the first I have had 100% off from work and improv since December.  It was amazing.  Saturday night we had the big b.l.t. party for my birthday, and man was that awesome. There will be pics as soon as they are all ready, but for those who couldn’t make it, the highlight was me in a toga, marie in lingerie, and adam in a tux talking to the cops about a noise complaint.  Instead of telling us to turn it down, they told us how to file a complaint against our neighbor for using the police to harass us. and they told us how to get our future parties permitted. it was hilarious. and was trashed the whole conversation. overall the house was packed, the booze was ridiculously copious, and everything was great.  Really had a blast, and man did it feel good sleeping in both days. on Sunday I cleaned, sat in the sun, and had a BBQ for dinner.  It was a perfect weekend.

andys beard

A website I like to check every few weeks because, well because the broken English and subject matter of their posts makes me titter, recently weighed in on the topic of facial hair on men.  Go read the article, then scan around the rest of the site, it’s a really funny and weird alterna-verse where men are awesome and women are sexy.  At least that’s what i get out of it: Fun Reports!
