I think I have found a worthy successor to Boring 3D for the title of “most interesting and consistently updated 3D artwork on the web”, and its name is Zamak. I love the mixture of photorealistic rendering with their imaginative and unconventional character designs; really interesting and original work. They add new images to the blog fairly regularly, and there is quite a deep archive to browse (check out the flash version of the site to see them presented in a more visual manner). Daddy likes. They also put some of their creations into motion, as you can see in the video below:

I cannot recommend this site enough to anyone who enjoys CGI or just finds the above samples as interesting as I do.
