So dear readers, I [Andy] have taken a 5 week job that means I will be leaving this great country of ours and traveling around the world.  I am sure there are many aspects to this that may or may not interest you, so I will take them on in bullet form, because I am a nerd who likes nice orderly listy type things.

• I am going with a small crew for a production company called Cry Havoc Productions, which is run by my good friend from college, Dylan of TwistingAsphalt fame.  We are producing a show on racing motorcycles for Turbo, which is on Discovery.  Also on the trip is Andy, the D.P. on “FOUND“.
• We are going to Japan, Germany, Italy, and France, and the trip starts at 4am tomorrow and lasts until just after Coachella [Which I bought tix for, if anyone wants them they are for sale]
• I just bought a new battery for my laptop, so I will be blogging and editing on the road, but anticipate a very sharp decline in both activities until I return.  Chris and Sam are going to be blogging more and Terron has taken on an episode of Drunk America to edit.  I have 2 episodes with me on my hard drive, so hopefully we will release one every other week until I get back.  That won’t be so bad, will it?
• I plan on posting pics and maybe videos from the road, so keep your eyes on this blog if you want to know how its going.  I am probably going to be cutting the behind the scenes stuff on the trip for Turbo’s site, so I may not be able to post a lot of great stuff here because… well because they kind of own me until I return, and so there’s that.
• If you want to know more about any of this just comment below and I will respond when I get the time, and the net access, both of which will be at a serious premium.
• The reason for the short notice is that I was not sure I was going to go until very recently, and I have been balls to the wall busy getting ready since I did make the decision to go.

Take care of the United States for me, I would like for it to be the way I left it.
