Long before Michael Richards had his now infamous racist meltdown at the hands of a heckler, Bill Hicks had one of his own. He isn’t being racist, but dropping the c-word in some circles is equally offensive. Never having done standup myself (improv and standup are kind of like kung-fu vs Muy Thai- both are in the same category, but require totally different skills), I cannot explain where this anger comes from.
