Before Kramer There Was Bill Hicks

December 1st, 2006 by Andy

Long before Michael Richards had his now infamous racist meltdown at the hands of a heckler, Bill Hicks had one of his own. He isn’t being racist, but dropping the c-word in some circles is equally offensive. Never having done standup myself (improv and standup are kind of like kung-fu vs Muy Thai- both are in the same category, but require totally different skills), I cannot explain where this anger comes from. Maybe a standup comedian will explain it sometime. Feed readers, you can watch it on YouTube.

Was a bit of a meltdown, but that’s also just Bill Hicks. He never took crap.

    Wish he was still around.
