Bone induction sound transmission is not new, nor is it something that is mysterious to me. You vibrate the jawbone, those vibrations go into the ear and you hear sound. Anyone who has used a Sonicare knows about bone induction (you can’t hear much when that thing is humming away). But I still refuse to believe that bone induction phones or radios work until I try it out for myself. Yes, my brain tells me that it will work, science agrees, but my heart says its just too crazy to work. It just seems like something that wouldn’t work well enough to be an actual product. Well, feast your eyes on the bone induction snorkel. It transmits voice or music through your jaw to your ears when you bite down on the snorkel. I call shenanigans. The only way I will be convinced is when I try it myself.

A few years back I actually found some candy (lollypops) that used the same technique to play sounds as you gnawed away on it.
