Decorative Mirror Radiators
November 7th, 2006 by Andy|
I have lived in houses that used radiators as the main source of heat for those cold-ass winter nights, and while I totally prefer central heating, they certainly work, and they certainly are ugly. There are a lot of accepted ways to conceal a radiator, the most common seeming to be a wooden bench type cover that you can sit on that has vents on the front to let the heat out into the room. These seem ugly to me also, and add a huge hiding place that is almost impossible to clean for dust to your home (I have pretty bad allergies that seem to be getting worse as time passes, so removing dust has become a higher priority in my life lately). While I do not personally need or want this radiator/mirror from Acova, I can certainly appreciate it. I also like the modern radiators for bathrooms that double as towel racks; having experienced these first-hand I can say there is nothing, and I mean that, better than a hot towel after a hot bath/shower.
