Democracy Became Miro, Still Great
July 25th, 2007 by Andy|
I have mentioned Democracy before, so this is just an update on the project, not a full description of the program. Recently they changed the name of the player to Miro, mostly to deal with confused potential users who thought it was only used for political purposes [come on people, words can have many meanings... use your heads]. With the new name comes a new update to the code, but nothing revolutionary that I see so far. It is still one of the most versatile players available, and its iTunes-like interface makes collecting and organizing podcasts and other videos baby simple. I said it, baby simple. If you aren’t already using it, or some other podcatcher, ask your baby how to install and operate Miro, its pretty great. Then add the AV Club Mainline podcast. |
