Dyson Does It Again?
October 18th, 2006 by Andy|
Sheesh, Dyson has been really busy lately! They just announced a “hand held” (I added the quotes, this thing’s still a monster) vacuum cleaner to compete with the Dust Buster, the Dyson Root 6. It seems to have the same awesome suckage (in a good way) that the full size uprights employ, only with rechargeable batteries. It looks like a pain sprayer, power drill, and a coffee maker had a monsterchild, and it seems so big that you might as well get out the upright if you’re going to go through the trouble of lugging this thing out of the closet. Maybe it would be good for cleaning a car. And one of the pics does have it equipped with an attachment that would do wonders on a keyboard. I don’t know though, this one certainly strikes me as maybe one of those products whose reality does not match the wonder of its spec sheet. Anyone actually want one of these things? Via Werty.net. |

really? come on, look at the damn thing. i am huge a fan of the dyson upright, but i really don’t think that i can get behind this one, too big, too slapped-together looking in terms of design. what dyson really needs to make is a roomba. i would so be all over that.

I’m willing to forgive it’s size for its ability to handle larger items than most handhelds can accomodate. And personally, I kinda dig its look.
I’ve got the DC14 Complete (best wedding present EVER), and it’s made me an utter whore for all things John Dyson.
