I just saw this video thanks to the eagle-eyed blogging of Ankakay; it’s the video of Eddie Griffin crashing a $1.5 Million Ferrari Enzo belonging to the producer of his new film “Redline”. Wickedawesome. Also, the blog it was on has some choice words on the event: F1 Blog.

it was confirmed to me by someone who worked on “redline” that this was an elaborate publicity stunt… and boy did it work.
apparently griffin crashed a few other ferraris during the shooting of this film. the word is he can afford to be so “casual” about crashing ferraris because he has some outrageously luxurious insurance policy that just takes care of these things for him. ah, movie stars.

well, i’ll do some digging when i get back to america, $1.5M is not expensive when it comes to publicity stunts, but i will say that for that much $ you’d think they would have shot an angle that better covered the action
