The HP Printing Mailbox and Presto Service is a printer that can automagically check an email account and print any new messages out like a fax machine would. It also can grab newspaper articles, Sodoku games, crosswords, recipes, etc. and print them out every day. The device is $150 but carries an additional monthly service fee, and it being an HP printer, I promise the ink will bankrupt you. But if you have a luddite in your family, or just an old grandparent type who does not know how to turn a computer on let alone how to use one, maybe this is for you/them. I have one gripe- it’s one-way. Why not include basic fax-like functionality for scanning and emailing hand written emails? I wouldn’t mind that.  Via UberReview.
