If you haven’t heard of Chick Tracts yet, then you’ve either not been intarwebbing long enough, or you’re just really lucky. For the uninitiated, Chick Tracts are basically Christian comic book tracts that are bursting with bigotry and fundamentalism.

Now, Terri, in an attempt to make our home weirder and more frightening for small children, decided to decorate our bathroom with these abominable things. The result, dare I say, are a bit awesome, as you can see in these images: (Warning: they’re a bit huge) 1, 2, 3, 4.

The problem with all of this is that since I had to order the $15 Chick Tract sampler pack to make all of this possible, I’m now on the Chick mailing list. This means that every time there’s a new tract out, I get it by email and snail mail. The latest tract, released today, is named “Guilty“, and it spawned the following comments from me via an IM to Andy, who requested that I post them verbatim:

[16:13]: I have read the new chick tract, and learned that while Jesus may save me from a moving truck or let me get away with trespassing on people’s lawns, murder is where he draws the line because of professionalism
[16:14]: oh, and I learned that Chick Publications fucking suck at analogies
