I have used tightly twisted newspaper to start fires before (in a fireplace; I use jet fuel for arson), but this one is new to me. The Brookstone Newspaper Roller takes a newspaper and rolls it into a tight log that you burn instead of wood. Newspaper as the fire, not just to start it. The old-timey appearance makes me wonder if this is an old technology, like apple coring machines, that I have just lived in blissful ignorance of for all of these years. I kinda want to see this in action just to see how it works, maybe I will swing by Brookstone this weekend and make them roll me up some logs. Via Apartment Therapy.
