Raintank

![]() Rain tanks are not something you really see here in LA; I am guessing mainly because we do not know what rain is. Literally- what is it? All we are sure of is that if water ever comes from the sky, you cannot drive normally; the sky water prevents it and causes accidents all on its own. But there are places on Earth where they do know what rain is, and they harness its magic car crashing powers by collecting it in “rain tanks”. Now apparently normal rain tanks are not very pretty, so traditional architecture works to hide them. But these rain tanks are different. Their “sculptural satin acrylic” sides allow light in and out, so they glow in the sunlight during the day and by the internal lights at night. They come in a full range of colors and sizes, so there is a tank for every budget and occasion. If you live outside LA and want to show off your magic sky water collection, this seems like a good way to do it. |
