Upravlator Touchscreen
October 20th, 2006 by Andy
![]() remember the Optimus keyboard concept? Meet the Upravlator screen. I am guessing that the Optimus is still too cost-prohibitive to move beyond the concept phase, so in the meantime the design company Art Lebedev Studio has come up with this idea. It is a monitor of sorts, divided into 12 sections, each one of which can be pressed in 5 places to select different functions. It may seem rather large, and bulky, and honestly not very useful at first glance, but check out their suggested uses and decide for yourself if you can see yourself using such a device in your computing life. This isn’t good or bad. It’s just the way of things. Nothing stays the same.
